Laura has a track record of success across a wide breadth of legal matters, ranging from real estate transactions and government relations to healthcare law and intellectual property. Her clients have ranged from entrepreneurs and major health systems to mid-market corporations and non-profits. She is prized by her clients for such versatility, as well as her attention to detail in even the most complex of cases.

Laura is a proud Clevelander who returned to her hometown after working in Washington, D.C., in the U.S. Senate advancing business and community development in Ohio. Today she brings that expertise to her work in forging public-private partnerships that are fueling job growth, economic development and community revitalization in Northeast Ohio. That has included her role in creating the successful bid to bring the 2016 Republican National Convention to Cleveland and a deal to attract a national corporate headquarters to a restored historic building in a revitalized Cleveland neighborhood.

Laura also serves clients with general corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, employment law, trusts and estates, real estate financing and protection of intellectual property.

“We take a holistic approach that goes beyond taking a client from point A to point B. We think bigger, and can provide solutions that a client might not have even thought about.” – Laura E. Englehart

Representative Experience

“A year ago the Victory Project was struggling to stay afloat, facing defaults from its lender and tax credit investors. Today, with Dealer Tire, we have secured a grade-A tenant for the next 20 years. We could not have done it without KJK’s counsel and assistance. Facing an impossible task, Jon Pinney and his team came through with more than we could have possibly expected.”
