Yasinow Selected for the 2017 Mandel Symposium

March 20, 2017

KJK’s Associate Melissa A. Yasinow was selected for the 2017 Mandel Symposium.

“The Mandel Symposium, an “issues based” leadership course, seeks to engage, educate, and empower our community’s emerging leaders. The Mandel Symposium is geared for individuals who are at the beginning of their leadership path – individuals who have shown a commitment to our community and have shown potential to move into leadership roles.” – Jewish Federation of Cleveland

Participants of the 2017 Mandel Symposium will:

  • Learn from local and national experts about issues facing our community
  • Build peer relationships to become part of the network of informed, next generation Jewish leaders
  • Participate in hands-on experiences showing how community dollars help those in need at all stages of life
  • Develop new insights on leadership, Jewish identity, community, and continuity

KJK’s Of Counsel, Ari H. Jaffe, is among the graduates of this program. “It is an honor to see Melissa continue in the KJK tradition of public service to the Jewish community,” says Jaffe.

“I am very proud to have been selected to join the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s premier leadership development program, the Mandel Symposium. It is an honor to work with and learn from so many leaders in Cleveland’s Jewish Community. I hope that my contributions can help keep our community strong.” – Melissa A. Yasinow
