“Heather is a fantastic addition to the KJK family and our Columbus office in particular. We are committed to growth in both our markets, building on our traditions of excellence and creating teams of experienced practitioners to serve our clients,” said Jon J. Pinney, KJK’s Managing Partner.

“I am thrilled to join KJK’s Columbus office. I was impressed by the focus on excellence and the willingness of management to provide assistance and support to all of its employees to help them be more successful. I knew I wanted to be a part of the KJK team because I felt it would not only benefit me but more importantly benefit my clients. It is a great team atmosphere and I am pleased to be a part of the growing Columbus office,” said Heather.

Alison graduated from The Ohio State University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.  She worked for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Civil Rights Division of the Public Protection and Advocacy Bureau where she handled the intake, investigation, and mediation of citizen complaints.  Alison also worked as an Attorney Support Staff Intern for Manley Deas Kochalski, LLC.  During her time at OSU, Alison was a member of the Politics, Society & Law Scholars Program, and the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team.

Ray graduated from OSU summa cum laude where he double majored in Political Science and Public Affairs and double minored in Spanish and economics.  Prior to joining KJK, Ray worked as a Policy and Public Affairs Intern for the Ohio Attorney General where he focused on the interaction between teenagers and law enforcement. He also served as an intern for Senator Rob Portman. Ray was an active member of the OSU community where he worked in the Office of First Year experience, Office of the President, and Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
